Mockingbird Pupils Achieve Exceptional LAMDA Results
This year marked an incredible milestone for Mockingbird Academy, with an outstanding 88% of pupils awarded Distinctions and the remaining 12% earning Merits — a remarkable achievement that reflects the dedication and passion of our young performers. In Musical Theatre, 90% of the pupils achieved Distinctions and 10% Merit.
From our enthusiastic Primary pupils taking their very first steps into the world of performance, to our accomplished Secondary pupils tackling advanced grades, every Mockingbird pupil rose to the challenge with determination and flair. Their performances were a true celebration of their talent, creativity, and commitment to the performing arts.
We are especially proud of our senior pupils in Grades 6, 7, and 8, who gained valuable UCAS points for university entry through their exceptional results. These achievements not only highlight their ability but also open doors to exciting academic and professional opportunities in the future.
At Mockingbird Academy, we believe that performing arts education builds much more than technical skills. It fosters confidence, discipline, teamwork, and self-expression — qualities that will serve our pupils throughout their lives, both on and off the stage. This term’s LAMDA results are a testament to the power of that vision and to the dedication of our teachers, families, and, most importantly, our talented pupils.
We extend our warmest congratulations to every single pupil who took part in these exams. Your hard work, passion, and love for the stage have truly shone through, and we could not be prouder of your achievements.
