For our Year 11 and Year 12 students, this is a significant milestone; one that marks the beginning of an intense period of preparation as they get ready to demonstrate their hard work and determination in the upcoming examinations. We are incredibly proud of the commitment and resilience they have shown throughout the year, and we have every confidence that they will approach the weeks ahead with focus, courage and ambition. Please do remind them that our staff are here to support them every step of the way.
A particularly heartfelt note must go to our remarkable Year 13 students. Today marks the end of their final lessons with us, and what an incredible journey it has been. Whether they have been with us since FS1 or at any stage thereafter, they have left a lasting impact on our school. From leadership and service to academic excellence and unforgettable performances on stage, in sport, and beyond; they have helped shape the very best of our school culture.
To the parents of our Year 13 students: thank you. Your partnership, support, and encouragement throughout these years have been invaluable. We know the pride and emotion that comes with this chapter closing, and we look forward to celebrating together at the graduation ceremony in June—a truly special event to mark an extraordinary group of young people.
Wishing all students taking exams the very best of luck. You've got this and we’ll be cheering you on from the sidelines.

As we enter Term 3, it’s been brilliant to see so many students continuing to uphold the values of Positively DC – showing kindness, respect, and pride in our school community. One important way we demonstrate this is through smart, consistent uniform and presentation.
Wearing the correct uniform builds unity, reduces distractions, and sets the tone for purposeful learning. Let’s maintain these high standards together. Please check the Parent Handbook for full details:
Key reminders:
DC-branded items only: Jumpers, trousers, and skirts must be official DC uniform - no exceptions
Skirts must fall below the knee.
Jewellery: One subtle friendship bracelet, one set of small sleeper studs, and no smartwatches or large hoops.
Shoes must be black - no white soles.
We appreciate your support in helping every student meet expectations and contribute to an environment where everyone feels proud and ready to learn.
