Welcome to the start of the new academic year at Doha College!
After a long summer vacation, we hope that our children and families are ready to embark on a journey of learning and growth together. Our teachers have been working extremely hard in preparation for the return of our students and they have prepared exceptionally supportive and inspiring environments, where every student can thrive.
Starting the year in the new role of Head of Primary, I am delighted to have the opportunity to meet with all members of the Doha College community over the coming weeks and months. In particular, we look forward to welcoming you to our start of year Showcase events at the end of the second week and our curriculum welcome meetings over the first few weeks of term. More information will follow on these events from your child’s Head of Year and Assistant Headteacher.

As we welcome the start of a new school year, we are excited to see our students back and ready for another year of learning and growth. We warmly welcome all parents and look forward to working together to support your child's success.
Starting this year, all secondary students will receive a lanyard from their form tutor on the first day of school. It is essential that students wear their lanyards every day as part of their daily school routine.
During the first two weeks, allowances will be made to help students get used to wearing their lanyards. However, after this period, students not wearing their lanyards will receive a behaviour point, as it is considered part of their required school equipment.
If a student loses their lanyard, a replacement can be provided, but there will be a cost associated with it.
We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring that students adhere to this policy and look forward to a productive and successful year ahead.
We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to all our students on their fantastic exam results. Your hard work, dedication, and perseverance have truly paid off, and we are incredibly proud of your achievements. These results are a testament to your commitment and the support from your teachers and families. Well done to each and every one of you!
The letter below outlines crucial information regarding gate timings and entry procedures for drop-off and pick-up. It is vital that everyone follows these guidelines to ensure the safety of our entire community, and most importantly, our students. Your cooperation helps us maintain a secure and orderly environment for all.
