After two successful weeks of focus around Digital Safety, where both primary and secondary staff and students engaged in a wide variety of activities, assemblies and competitions. We are delighted to announce that we have also, once again achieved our annual accreditation with National Online Safety and The National College! This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to equipping our staff, students and wider community with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.
In an era where digital behaviour, online presence, AI risks, and online scams are becoming increasingly complex, we remain dedicated to providing up-to-date training and resources that empower our school community. Through this accreditation, we ensure that our staff are well-informed, our students are digitally resilient, and our parents have access to expert guidance on keeping their children safe online. If you have not yet had a chance to look at the huge library of resources the website has to offer, go to this link, select “skip the log in with a one time link” and browse the vast selection of help guides for parents.
We look forward to continuing our journey in promoting digital literacy, safeguarding against online dangers, and fostering a culture of responsible internet use. Thank you for your continued support in making our school a safe and informed digital learning environment!

During the Holy month of Ramadan we understand that some students will be fasting. We would like to assure you that we are mindful of this and have made adjustments to our PE and Games curriculum accordingly.
Whilst we respect and support students who are fasting, we would like to encourage them to continue to participate in PE and Games lessons and to continue to bring their PE kit. Activities within the curriculum have been modified to provide lower intensity options based indoors to cater for those students observing Ramadan. We believe that staying active, even in small doses, will be beneficial.
Furthermore, in light of Key Stage 3 PE lessons only being 35 minutes long, students in Year 7 to Year 9 have permission to attend school in their full and correct PE kit on the days they have PE timetabled. On days where students have games lessons, students must attend school in their school uniform and change into PE kit for the lesson as per the usual policy.
Year 7 PE - Monday
Year 8 PE - Thursday
Year 9 PE - Wednesday
On behalf of the Secondary PE team, we would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your families Ramadan Kareem; may this month bring you peace and blessings.

A huge thank you to our dedicated University and Careers Department for organising such a meaningful event. With over 300 parents and students in attendance, the fair provided a fantastic platform for exploring future educational pathways and career opportunities. We are proud to be part of this journey, helping shape bright and promising futures!
