The high point of my day is inevitably getting the opportunity to welcome pupils and parents into the College every day on the front gate. In spite of the early hour, I am always amazed by how friendly and positive members of our community are - whether they are from the youngest end of the College or enjoying their A-level studies in preparation for heading off for university. Some will enquire about the day ahead or discuss the passions I have seen them excel in when they come to have their photograph taken in the office for this newsletter. Others (mainly our Primary School pupils) will give me a high five or even a fist bump. Some will simply rush into school to get ready for the day ahead, others will look so relaxed that it is hard to imagine they have a care in the world.
It is impossible to overstate how much my colleagues and I appreciate these interactions and what a privilege it is to work at Doha College. Please do not hesitate to stop us to ask a question or simply say hello!
Have a lovely weekend everyone.
