Principal's Pen

Whilst the academic success and strengths of Doha College are well known, something that at times goes under the radar is the phenomenal support the College provides for pupils with specific learning needs such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia or autism spectrum disorder. 

Our Learning Support Department oversees the progression of pupils with SEND which can be as light touch as monitoring their progress and the success of their Individual Learning Plan or as complete as co-ordinating the support of a one-to-one learning support assistant. As a result, our data shows that such pupils make exceptional progress as they journey through the College and the majority are thriving in all areas of their studies. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Learning Support Department for all they do for our pupils.
