On Saturday, a team of young netballers from Qatar travelled to Abu Dhabi to compete in the Emirates Mini Netball Festival, marking a major milestone for the sport in the country.

The Evo Sirens, our youngest team that formed in September 2024, became the first team of its age group in Qatar to compete internationally, with its youngest player just five years old. This tournament also marked the Evo Stars' debut on the international stage, a remarkable achievement for netball in Qatar.

The festival provided a fantastic introduction to competitive netball for the young players, who showcased impressive skills and teamwork throughout the event. Their participation is a testament to the growth of netball in the country and a proud moment for the Evo Netball community.

Anya Khan and Liana Abraham of Doha College represented the Evo Sirens and Evo Stars, respectively.
