I hope you enjoyed a wonderful Eid break!
As you will be aware, we launched our ‘Share and Connect’ series of parental workshops in Term 1. These were fantastic events that allowed us to come together as a community, learn and discuss important topics for our children. It also allowed parents to connect with other parents from across the school and to share a warm cup of coffee.
Based on the success of these parent workshops in Term 1, we will be launching a second series for this term. These will take place in the Sports Cafe on a Monday morning at 7.30 am. The dates and themes for the workshops are given below:
5th May - Setting Up iPad Parental Controls
12th May - Learn to Read, Read to Learn! Phonics at DC
19th May - Developing Early Numeracy in FS and KS1
26th May - Third Culture Kids
2nd June - Preparing for KS1
23rd June - Understanding Assessment and Reporting at DC
I hope that the range of workshops provides an informative and helpful insight into DC and how you can support your child. We look forward to sharing a coffee and conversation with you at these informative and engaging events.
