As our first term comes to an end, I would like to reflect on what has been a truly fantastic and busy start to the year. Together, we have celebrated learning, built connections, and strengthened the partnership between home and school.
One of our proudest achievements this term has been fostering closer links with our parent community. From the launch of our ‘Learn and Connect’ parent workshops on topics like fostering a growth mindset and supporting literacy to our ‘Show and Share’ events. It has been heartening to see so many of you engaging with your children’s education. Events like our weekly SLT ‘Meet and Greet’ and our new ‘Creating Connections’ initiative have further strengthened our sense of community, creating opportunities for us all to connect and share in the joy of learning.
This term has also been filled with impressive sporting achievements. Our students have competed in various inter-school and QPSSA tournaments, demonstrating skill, teamwork, and determination. Whether it was on the football pitch, cross country field or the sports hall athletics, their dedication and sportsmanship were truly inspiring. A special thank you goes to our PE team for their outstanding coaching and to the parents who cheered us on from the sidelines.
Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership. Together, we create a school where every child feels supported to thrive. I wish you a restful winter break and look forward to welcoming you back in the new year.
