Ramadan is a time for reflection, generosity, and connection, and it was wonderful to see these values so clearly on display. Staff, students, and families from all walks of life came together to share a meal, learn from one another, and celebrate what unites us. Watching our students having fun, parents sharing their stories, and colleagues embracing the spirit of the evening was both heartwarming and inspiring.
I would like to sincerely thank all who attended and supported. By coming together, you helped make the event such a success, whether through organisation, support, or simply by being present with warmth and kindness. Moments like these don’t happen without your care and dedication.
Events like our Community Iftar remind us that learning and growth happen not just in classrooms, but in the connections we foster and the understanding we build together. Our diversity is our strength, and together, we make Doha College a place where everyone feels welcome and valued.
Thank you and Ramadan Kareem to you and your families.

We are pleased to announce we will be having a series of Zumba 'Wake Up, Shake Up' taster sessions on Sunday 13th, 20th and 27th April from 7.00-7.15 am for EYFS pupils and their parents.
This class will be held on the MUGA. The MUGA is the large shaded area on the front side of the school. These classes are designed to promote physical activity and cognitive stimulation for both parents and students. Miss Claire Rattray who is a qualified Zumba instructor will lead this class. Research indicates that engaging in physical exercise can significantly enhance academic performance and cognitive function. Zumba offers an excellent opportunity for community building and a great way to kickstart your week. Please note that all EYFS pupils who attend this session must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and parents/guardians are responsible for walking their child to their classroom at 7.15am.
We look forward to your enthusiastic participation. We aim to roll this out for other Key Stages in the very near future.

Pret-a-Portrait will be holding a catch-up day for Primary children on Thursday, 17th April. This is a great opportunity for any students who were absent during the initial photo sessions to have their portraits taken.
