As you will have read in Mr Tongue's section of the newsletter, it has been a particularly busy few weeks at the College!
We have lots of sporting success to celebrate as well as our annual Year 6 residential trip to Oman. Moving forward, I am delighted to share two more exciting events that highlight the joy, energy, and community spirit of Doha College.
Firstly, this Saturday, we are thrilled to host our Spring Festival, a highlight of our school calendar! This festival is a celebration of togetherness, featuring fun activities, delicious food, and wonderful performances. It is a fantastic opportunity for families to connect and create memories while supporting and celebrating our wonderful school community. We warmly invite you all to join us for what promises to be an unforgettable day. Please refer to the Spring Festival section in the newsletter in order to secure your tickets.
Next week, we shift gears to celebrate our Primary Sports Week, which will see our children from FS1 to Year 6 taking part in our much-anticipated Sports Day. Always one of the highlights of the year, this opportunity will allow our children to showcase their determination, teamwork, and enthusiasm as they participate in a variety of sporting events for their Houses. These days are not just about competition but also about promoting a lifelong love of physical activity and the values of resilience and collaboration. They also provide an opportunity for children to work towards gathering points for their Houses.
Both events reflect the spirit of Doha College - a community that values excellence, inclusion, and opportunity for all. Thank you for your continued support, and I look forward to celebrating these moments with you.

We warmly invite you to join us on the Astro during your child’s Sports Day!
Come cheer them on and enjoy watching their incredible skills and enthusiasm in action. We look forward to seeing you there!
Please note, children should attend school as normal (in their PE shorts/bottoms and house t-shirt) for registration purposes, and parents should collect their child at the end of the school day/CCA.
