Head Girl
Hello,
My name is Sashna, and I’m honoured to have been elected as Head Girl this year. I am a voracious reader, a compulsive dancer and love taking part in drama productions. I also really believe in community service, and try to do my best in donating or volunteering for causes.
Being part of the Big 4 is a role I take great pride in. I’m most looking forward to working with both teachers and pupils to support our school community, represent pupils voice, and help lead initiatives that make a meaningful difference.
I would like to make Doha College a place where every kid can go home thinking ‘Wow - I had a great day today!’
I am truly grateful for this opportunity and will try my best and make every day count - especially Happy Crazy Sock Day!
Thank you.
Sashna
Head Boy
Hello everybody,
My name is Joshua from Year 6 Blue, and I am excited to be your new Head Boy for the year ahead! My friends and teachers know me as confident, reliable, and fun, and I want to use these skills to enhance every learner's experience at Doha College. I really enjoy math, rugby, golf and playing the piano. In the future, I would like to be a rugby player as this has been a lifelong ambition of mine.
I am excited to work with all of you this year to make the impossible become possible!
Thank you for reading,
Joshua
Deputy Head Girl
Hello everyone,
My name is Erin from Year 6 Yellow and I am delighted to have been elected as your Deputy Head Girl this year. I’m a lover of Gaelic Football and Irish Dancing (you may have seen me at some school events). Most of you will think that I’m Irish, but I’m actually Irish + Romanian.
I’m so excited to work with the others in the "Big 4" to lead the primary school pupil body and hopefully leave a lasting, positive legacy for all primary pupils. One of my ideas is a program called Global Online Learning Opportunities (GOLO) where we can connect with children around the globe in schools and I believe this would be an incredible way to broaden our perspectives and build connections across the globe.
I’m so excited to work with you all this year.
Thank you for reading.
Deputy Head Boy
Hello,
My name is Sebastian, but you may call me Seb or Sebi. I am truly honored and very excited to have been elected Deputy Head Boy. This role means so much to me, and I am eager to contribute to our school in every way I can.
I believe my diplomatic skills, shown through my experience in JMUN (Junior Model United Nations), will help me support effective meetings and positive decision-making. I am committed to using these strengths to serve both pupils and staff.
One of my key goals is to help make break times more enjoyable for everyone, from FS1 to Year 6, because I believe that happy pupils have better well-being and experience less stress throughout their day.
I am looking forward to working hard and making a positive difference as Deputy Head Boy.
I am sure you will join me in welcoming them and congratulating them on their new roles. I look forward to working with them across the year.
Derek Watson
