Principal of the Year - Mr Tongue Shortlisted
There’s an annual award for the International School Principal/Headteacher of the Year and we’re delighted, if not surprised, that Mr Tongue has been shortlisted.
It’s entirely allowed that Principals write and submit their own citations, however I can confirm to you this was not the case for us. I wrote a submission for Mr Tongue - which I’ll also add wasn’t even hinted at by him - and based it upon input received to represent parent, pupil, and staff voice.
You can see the shortlisting announcement video below.
Please do give it a share if you have a LinkedIn account.
Many thanks,

We understand Ashgal will level and surface the ground from our campus walls to the road. However, we have been unable to confirm this in writing and, furthermore, have no indication of when such work may be started.
If any parents have contacts at a senior level within Ashgal please send me an email (coo@dohacollege.com) by 20 November and I’ll arrange a meeting for all those that get in touch so we can see how best we might be able to confirm then expedite such work.
Kind regards,
David Lish
