Next week, Doha College will be marking Anti-Bullying Week, a time to celebrate kindness, inclusion, and respect for others. To round off the week, we’ll be taking part in Odd Socks Day – inviting everyone across the College to come in wearing odd socks to celebrate what makes us all unique.
Odd Socks Day is a simple but powerful reminder that it’s our differences that make us special. It’s a fun way to show support for one another and to stand together against bullying.
Let’s fill the College with colour and positivity as we bring Anti-Bullying Week to a close!
Please be reminded that Doha College is a nut-free school. While there are pupils across the school with a variety of allergies, nuts remain the most common cause of severe allergic reactions among children.
To help us maintain a safe environment for all, we kindly ask that pupils do not bring nuts or foods containing nuts to school. Please also be mindful of products that may include nuts as ingredients, such as chocolates, cookies, and Nutella.
If your child will be attending school using any mobility aids (such as crutches and walking frames), please ensure that you notify the school nurse in advance. This will help us provide the necessary support and ensure your child’s safety and well-being throughout the school day.
Thank you for your cooperation and support.
To ensure the safety of all pupils and to improve traffic flow:
All privately rented buses must have a school-issued entry permit.
Only buses with permits will be allowed onto the campus, except in special cases (e.g. students with disabilities or emergencies).
Approved buses will follow designated entry and exit routes under the supervision of school security.
Vehicles must comply with all traffic and safety regulations and be maintained in proper condition.
The school reserves the right to withdraw permits in cases of non-compliance.
Parents using private transport are kindly requested to contact the Front Office at frontofficecommunications@dohacollege.com to arrange the necessary permits.
We appreciate your continued support in keeping our school environment safe and well organised for everyone.
