U19 Volleyball Success
Congratulations to our Girls Volleyball team who came second in the QUESS Tournament at QIS, winning two out of three games. The girls have qualified for the final, to be played at Doha College on the 22nd of October.
The under 19s Boys Volleyball team came first in their respective league and will also move onto the final. Winning by points difference. Congratulations to both our U19s Volleyball teams.
U16 Girls’ Volleyball Team Impresses in QUESS Tournament
Our U16 Girls’ Volleyball team competed against several schools in Doha. They finished 2nd in their group stage, having lost just one game. This success took them through to the knockout round, where they faced a tough opponent. The girls started strong and built an early lead, but unfortunately, the pressure got the better of them in the end. Their opponents managed to catch up and secured a narrow 3-point victory, which meant the end of the road for DC in the tournament. Well done to all the girls that took part in the volleyball trials this year. It was great to see so many girls competing to represent DC; and a big well done to the selected team that competed in the tournament this year.
