coming of summer
Virginia Popescu
(0,2,5) = 9 pts
**Love this image! But would like to see the 1st line end at the natural
pause after "chicken" and see a few syllables shed. By using "pecks" as the verb and switching to "summer has come", it would eliminate the double "ing", making the haiku smoother and more succinct.
**Great imagery. Moving "the sun" down to line 2 would improve the way this reads.

General Comments:
**It's really getting harder to vote with a great number of good haiku in each batch! But I chose these because they appealed to me and/or resonate with a truth.
**Too many beautiful haiku, it was a pity I had only 6 points available to share.
**As usual it was very hard to pick from these very inspirational haiku.
**There were far too many great haiku from which to choose. I think we must all be ready for summer!
