**Comment: I continue to be attracted to those haiku which show the juxtaposition of two images, and leave something unsaid.
**Some very nice senryu but I had to choose. My votes are for lines that take me elsewhere beyond ice cream delights.
** This kigo gave us a lot of happy summery haiku, so pleasant to read. And yet, there seemed to be fewer haiku of high quality among them

**I had never before heard the expression "day moon" but understood the theme when announced. Reading this month's haiku collection, it seems that almost everyone was familiar with the term. Interesting!
