Thanksgiving Foods Ranking

For this month's edition of the newspaper, we will be posting stories every day for 15 days in ThunderRidge's very first newspaper advent calendar where we will rank different subjects according to you, the readers, and your opinions on these subjects. Our first topic is Thanksgiving foods, the best and the worst. To begin we will go from the worst foods to the best. According to the students here at ThunderRidge, the worst food was a tie between a green bean casserole and cherry pie with about 5% of votes. This is surprising, however, considering fruit pies came in second worldwide in a 2021 ranking. The next food on the list was ham with just one more vote than both cherry pie and green bean casserole. Just after that in 2nd place was arguably the most iconic Thanksgiving meal, Turkey. However, none of these came close to the 1st place food which beat Turkey alone by 23%, coming in a fan favorite for many not only at ThunderRidge but also worldwide where Mashed Potatoes beat all of the other mentioned foods (except for fruit pies) in the 2021 food ranking.
