Christmas Arriving Earlier and Earlier Each Year

Why does it seem every year, right after Halloween, Christmas starts to roll around? The lights, the decorations, the songs. Christmas seems to be coming around earlier and earlier? Well, there seems to be many marketing and money-making reasons for the early celebration.
For stores, it's about the money. The faster they get the product out, the more money the business is going to make. After all, the customer is just a walking money bank. They put out a lot so that they can get the most out of the holiday season. When they push ahead the time to sell decorations, everyone starts to get an increase in products being sold and the amount of Christmas decorations being put out. The loss of time it takes now to get products to the store and to get them all ready makes them start to put up their supplies so that the product has a long shelf life before it is gone.
Radio stations start to broadcast the music around November 1st to motivate people into feeling the cheer . People are hearing the songs really early from radio stations to ads on their phones. The stores are putting out the decorations so that they can sell and make some money early before the Christmas holidays. Advertisements for holidays items adorn store walls, and people need gifts for the family!
What about Thanksgiving? We are already skipping past Thanksgiving and on to Christmas, so what happened to Thanksgiving? We are supposed to be thankful and happy with our family, but we tend to skip past that every year because we miss the snow and the gifts we receive from our family on Christmas day.
Curious about others’ views I went out and gathered some thoughts from students around the school.
Senior Aidan Moore complained, “Christmas music is the worst of all music. I would rather listen to country music, and I hate country music. I would rather listen to country music for two thousand hours than some f****** Santa Claus music.”
Senior Eli Perez said, “ Christmas music is over played like a [expletive] and it's over used.”
Senior Will Douglas said, ''The music is alright, but the decorations are too early. At least wait till Thanksgiving, also Sprite cranberry finally comes out.”
Senior Gabe Kasper exclaimed** “its absolutely stupid,we ended up skipping Thanksgiving straight to all the themes of chrismas, once it hits December it is fine as long as you dont abuse the heck out of it. “
Freshman Kyle Patison said, “The music is too early, the decorations are nice unless they go overboard, they go overboard because they have a sense of competition. Someone in my block has a whole music house and it looks sick but it doesn't go overboard.”
The general answer among students seems to be that they hate the idea of it happening super early but the decorations look nice. If we were to hold off just one more month until december 1st then the general population would be happy.
