The NBA is finally coming to an end, with just 8 teams still remaining. The playoffs are getting interesting with underdogs competing harder than ever and your red hot Denver Nuggets dominating the western conference. Here is everything you need to know about the teams most likely to advance and which teams and players to look out for:
As of right now the playoffs have been very unpredictable, which adds on to the entertainment. The lower seeded teams are 4-4 against the higher seeded teams, which proves that any team can win with enough determination. This includes the 8th seeded Miami Heat who absolutely pummeled the 1st seeded Milwaukee Bucks who were the favorite to win
this year’s NBA Championship. Small forward of the Heat, Jimmy Butler, is an absolute monster in this year’s playoffs, averaging 36 points per game and an absurd 60% shooting percentage, he's one of the top people who could take this Heat team far. Another underdog is the 7th seeded LA Lakers, who finally recovered after multiple injuries to their starting line up, they played amazing the 2nd seeded Memphis Grizzlies without too many problems. Age is becoming a factor for Lebron James, turning 39 years old this year; however, Lebron is not letting up. The deadly duo of Lebron and Anthony Davis is a threat to look out for especially with James striving for one last NBA Championship. The Phoenix Suns were also a team to look out for before their loss to the Denver Nuggets, shooting guard, Devin Booker, is averaging 37 points against your Denver Nuggets with an absurd 66% shooting percentage to top that. The Nuggets are also hit or miss with covering Kevin Durant, when they can it’s a guaranteed win; when they can’t, it is a different story.
The Denver Nuggets are finally proving to be one of the best, if not the BEST team in the NBA this year. The Nuggets have never even been to an NBA final as long as they’ve been around, this year might be a different story. They are running over the western conference, beating the Minnesota Timberwolves 4-1, and their only loss being a close overtime game. They just clinched the Western Conference Semis against the Phoenix Suns winning 4-2, Along with the 76ers, they have the highest odds to win the NBA finals.
Finally, the reason why you came here, to find out who is going to win it all in the 2022-2023 NBA playoffs. The front runner of the western conference is the Denver Nuggets, who will play the LA Lakers or the Golden State Warriors. Between this matchup, you have to go with the Lakers, they are looking steady and have a lead over the Warriors. Between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Boston Celtics, the Celtics look to have better odds, they just beat the 76ers by 10 and unstoppable Jason Tatum didn’t even have a field goal until the end of the 4th, it’s tied 3-3 but the Celtics should soundly knock the 76ers out at home. On the other hand, they have the New York Knicks and the Miami Heat, this one is already over, you have the Heat up 3-2, and this team is feeding off of determination, they will beat the Knicks to fight against the Celtics or 76ers.
If you’re looking for the NBA finalists this year, lookout for the Denver Nuggets, they are sure to beat any Western team in their path. And for the Eastern Conference, the front runner is the Boston Celtics; however, don’t be surprised if the Miami Heat pull another upset to sneak into the Finals. There are endless possibilities, so watch out for any underdogs to do something historic!

At the time of writing this, we are in the Conference Finals games, thus between the Denver Nuggets up 2-0 vs. the LA Lakers, and the Miami Heat up 1-0 against the Boston Celtics. Every doubt about the Nuggets has disappeared being the only team that is likely to be finals bound with odds of -450 to beat the LA Lakers. The Celtics and Heat is still hard to tell, but everyone that didn’t believe in Jimmy Butler is now a believer. The Celtics are still favored; however, the heats odds boosted up from +320 to +170 after stealing game one from the Celtics who were at home.
