Welcome back readers to the last 3 days of our Newspaper advent calendar. With 1 week left until Christmas break we figured we would give you some ideas on where to travel for Christmas. (In the future of course!) So, without further ado, here are the top 5 places to visit during your Winter Break.
Starting our list off with #5, Orlando, Florida. Obviously the state \ home to Disney World would place high on the list with Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party taking place right around the holiday’s. Every year crowds pour into Orlando to visit Disney World for the holidays with their family’s, making Orlando an amazing place to visit.
Number 4 on the list is Chicago, Illinois. With its amazing Christmas shops all over the city, especially during the holidays, a massive tree in the middle of Chicago, the amazing ice skating and of course Winterfest; Chicago during the holidays is a must see. If you ever want a very homey Christmas feel, while still in a big city, Chicago is the place to visit during the holidays.
Number 3 goes to Vail, in our very own state of Colorado. With the snow, Kris Kringle Market, and Vail Village for everyone living in Colorado, Vail is a must visit area; and going during the holidays makes the experience twice the fun!
The second place spot goes to Christmas Town USA, North Carolina. In case you couldn’t tell by the name, this is a town covered entirely with Christmas lights and trees as far as the eye can see. This is a place that everyone should visit at least once in their life. If you want to visit an amazing Christmas themed town where they hand out free popcorn and hot chocolate all night long, make sure you visit North Carolina on your next trip east.
And finally, The first place goes to, with no surprise, New York City, New York. With the hundreds of Christmas shops and of course Rockefeller Center, New York City is an amazing place to visit during the holidays; especially if you're looking for a very grand Christmas experience. Whether it is daytime or nighttime the Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center is always shining bright and a can’t miss sight.
So, as this year comes to a close, we would like to thank everyone that participated in voting for these past stories and gave their opinion. We wish everyone luck on their finals and hope that you have a fantastic rest of your school year!
