The NFL is red hot right now with the Superbowl right around the corner, here is everything you need to know. In the upcoming superbowl which takes place on a Sunday of Febuary 12th, it is anticipated battle between the red hot Kansas City Chiefs and the soaring Philidelphia Eagles. The playoffs have been fairly interesting with the conclusion of the NFC Championship games where the Eagles blewout the banged up San Francisco 49ers who were starting with a fourth string quarterback which ended with a rough score of 31-7, with the Eagles advancing. In the AFC Championship it ended up being a tongue biter with the Chiefs inching out a win against the fierce Cincinatti Bengals off a field goal which ended in them taking it with a score of 23-20, with the Chiefs advancing. According to many professional football analyticals this game will be extremely close, so it should be a must watch for anyone even if you aren’t that invested in the NFL.
This is also going to be a fated battle between the two brothers, Jason Kelce, on the Eagles; and Travis Kelce on the Chiefs. This is the first time two brothers have played eachother in a Superbowl in NFL history.
This will also be the first time two black quarterbacks have played eachother with Jalen Hurts and the probable MVP Patrick Maholmes. Coming into the 2022-2023 season the Chiefs were getting disrespect for losing star wide receiver Tyreek Hill, they proved everyone wrong with their position now. The Eagles were also a surprise who landed 1st seed in the NFL, and a team that if they played 100% all year could very well be 17-0. The Superbowl is being played in Arizona and is sure to bring the heat to this cold winter. At halftime, famous pop-star Rihanna will be preforming, she is a great singer who has tons of hit songs such as: Love the Way You Lie, We Found Love, and This is What You Came For.
