Contour drawing (Outline) of my portrait. Today, we learnt how to trace the shadows around my face and also outlined everything.
Contour drawing of my portrait (Carbon). Today, we used carbon paper to trace all the features.
Traced Potrait features + Facialgraphy. Today, we traced all the shadows and eyelids etc. onto cardboard to prepare to paste onto the face.
Completed Face Assembling. Today, we glued all the cardboard onto the face to resemble my face.
Hair frame/overall look of hair. Today, I made the hair and hair frame to fit onto the face.
Final look, with the shirt and hair all on.
Face and hair with velcro on, for the face and hair to stick on each other.
Final look with stand on to make it stand up.
REFLECTIONS - Praise and Polish
Praise: I think my work came out pretty well, especially with the short time span. I think my design of hair and clothing was also unique. All of the unique features were also well designed and well thought. The hair was also quite nice even though it was very basic.
Polish: I have also learnt to be more savvy of time in order to do work faster. However, my face features aren't that 3D so I should have spent more time on putting more layers into my face to make it look better. Also, maybe spending more time on the shirt.
