MY SELF PORTRAIT
Contour Outline of my photograph

Faciography
We did traced our own self portrait, I felt really embarrassed at first but I got used to it after a while. I think I still somewhat look like myself.
We drew our own face on a drawing block using carbon paper and I think it turned out okay?
I cut out my face shape and drew the features of my face onto it, I also kind of made a hole in the middle of it but it should be coverable when i paste my nose on. (also my camera registered the photo as a landscape instead of portrait)
Cutting out facial features
Pasting of facial features
Completed face + hair backing
I cut out all of my features with the labels on so I wouldn't forget which one was which as I realised I couldn't finish sticking up on during the lesson.
I sticked on as much as I could during that lesson and my eyes were the main part I had not sticked on.
I finished my face (except for the little white dot in the eye) and also sticked on the hair backing. I don't really like how it turned out but hopefully it would be better after I made the hair.

First shirt design
I mostly finished my hair. I realised it looked kind of plain and decided to add a few more things to it.
I think it looks way better after the touchups! I added more blobs of hair onto my fringe to make it look more realistic and give it more volume
I finished my first shirt! I was rushing throughout the lesson because I was a little behind time but I'm really glad I got it done by the end of lesson

Completed designs of the two shirts
I finished the base and idea of my second shirt. I wanted it to contrast with my first shirt well.
I added on a pocket and more designs onto the shirt but I realised that the right side of the shirt was lacking something and was looking very plain.
In the end, these are how my two shirts turned out. I decided on adding a few more streaks of white paper onto the side of it and adding circles to look like bells to it to fill up the gaps.
Final product(s)!

Praise- I think I quite like how my shirts turned out. They were also really fun designing and making! While making both shirts, the emptiness in some areas of the shirts really threw me off and I couldn't let the issue go until I found something to fill it up and I'm really glad I did! I like the small little white lines that I curled up and attached to the shirts to make it more appealing.
Polish- I think if I could do this again, I would be more careful when cutting out of the facial features as I felt like some of them weren't smooth. For the ones that I had to cut out twice to attach the cardboard and the shadows to especially, I felt that some of them didn't attach on seamlessly and there was either some extra or some area's that were a little short of paper on it. Some of them also have pencil marks on it which I should have erased after I cut them out and I think I could have prevented this.
