We outlined our portraits, by highlighting the brighter parts and tiny details on our face such as eye bags, shadows, etc.
I did good in making sure the outline is accurate
I can improve in the detailing of the outline
We used graphite paper to trace our outline of the portrait to a blank piece of paper.
I did good in making sure the tracing is similar to the outlining.
I can improve in the connection of the lines
We used the graphite paper again to trace our outline onto cardboard as a base for the cardboard pieces that were to be pasted on later :)
I did good in making the tracing and head shape proportionate
I can improve in the clarity of the lines
.Since I had missed a lesson, I only had one lesson to paste on the traced and cut out cardboard pieces, luckily I managed to finish on time. :))
I did good in not wasting time and finishing it before lesson ended.
I can improve in the addition of different colours to highlight my face more.
We started on our hair today! I decided to cut up strips of cardboard in different shapes and pasted it on my hairframe!
I did good in making sure my hair is textured and look alike to real hair.
I can improve in planning the hair better to make it look even nicer.
I started on the designing of my clothes! I planned to make a checkered t-shirt with a jacket with a collar outside.
I did good in the planning out of the outfit.
I can improve in bringing more differently coloured cardboard to make my outfit really pop.
I finished the outfit! I added the letters from the cardboard to say the word "me", to show that this portrait shows who I am.
I did good in the designing of the outfit and full usage of cardboard brought.
I can improve in the tidiness of the design as it is a bit messy.
How it looks with my face and hair! I think it looks like me :)
I did good in the fact that it does look like me.
I can improve in the hair not sticking out so much as it was hard to stick the velcro.
I added the stand to the back in order to make it stand up like a picture frame!
This is the finished portrait with my spectacles!
Praise: For this project, i am satisfied with how my artwork came out. I feel that it really looks like me and I am really proud of the portrait and the design of the clothes. I did good in trying my very best in doing this portrait and put in a lot of hard work
Polish: Although I am satisfied with my art, i definitely think that i could do much better in many different aspects. I can improve in the shading the face and adding more colours to my shirt,
