Doing this today was relatively easy as it was just tracing over our photos that was printed for us.
Today, we used the carbon paper to trace our photo onto a cartridge paper. It was interesting as it was he first time using carbon paper today
Today was extremely difficult and tedious as we had to cut out our facial features and paste it onto a cardboard cut-out of our face. All in all, this was still a fun experience as I had fun while doing it with my friendsĀ
Today I cut out the shapes of the shadows on my face and pasted it. I also coloured by eyes black with a marker
Today, I used soft cardboard strips and rolled it up to paste onto an outline of my hair to resemble my curly hair
I then pasted my hair onto my face
Today I made an outline of a shirt
The shirt looked weird so I added collars and it looks betterĀ now.
This is the final result. I am happy with how this turned out and I find this project easier than expected
I believe that my hair was well done as my hair is curly and is very different in making on cardboard compared to straight hair. The use of soft cardboard to roll and paste onto a base made the portrait have volume.
I believe that I could have done a better job on my facial features. For example, making the glasses less thick, drawing the eyes better, and aligning the mouth.
