Praise: Using cardboard as a medium for a face portrait innovatively combines eco-friendliness. Setting it apart from typical canvas or digital pieces. The incorporation of designed clothes adds depth and a fashionable dynamism to the artwork, transforming the face into a wearable statement. This choice of portraying one's own visage elevates the piece into a profound introspective self-portrait, radiating a bold assertion of identity. I feel that the project was very enjoyable as it had to pique my brains on how to design the clothing and at the same time could show what i had been thinking of. This allows me to have a wider perspective of art and not only art as a picture on canvas.
Polish: When I integrated various patterns from clothing can make the artwork seem overly chaotic, necessitating a careful balance to maintain clarity and emphasis on the face. I feel I could have made my clothes look more unique and less plain. I also need to try and find more inspiration to make my artwork more unique. I also need to brush up on my skills of cutting as currently it is very badly cut.
