the first draft of drawing topographic lines on my portrait. Drawing the 'shadows' on my faces. we outlined the traces as well. At first, I thought this looked quite weird, but after awhile, I thought that it looked quite special and i learnt to appreciate it

using carbon paper, we traced the original portrait onto another piece of paper , I didnt think that this looked like me, but I felt it was okay.

we cut out the part onto the cardboard, it firstly started to look like me!!!!!!!!!!

adding face shades. at this point it kind of started looking like me, i feel quite impressed with the design i have came up with

Adding the hair. I was not that pleased at first but after all the hair was on, it looked quite nice and quite accurately expressed my visual features.

I created the shirt from cardboard boxes, the design is made from a kfc box.. i think the aesthetic is quite pleasing.

final design: overall, im quite impressed with what i achieved. The last part of adding the stand definitely made it a lot more visually appealing and i really love it.

praise: Designing the cardboard cutout of myself is a unique and imaginative. The Attention to detail is immaculate, I have paid close attention to detail in terms of facial features, clothing, and posture. Cutting and assembling cardboard required skill and precision. I feel like my cutout is well-constructed, although it was definitely very challenging at first but I managed in the end. I added personal touches or elements that reflects my own facial features, it makes the cutout more meaningful. I think presenting or displaying the cardboard cutout in the end is a point of success. I documented the process of making the cardboard cutout through photos or videos, that could be seen as an additional positive aspect, as it allows me to share the creative journey with others

polish: Finishing Touches: I should have reviewed my cutout for any rough edges or imperfections by Sanding or trimming any areas that appear uneven or jagged. I should have noticed any areas that seem flimsy or weak, reinforce them with additional cardboard or adhesive to prevent bending or breaking. I was also Considering creating or a custom display stand for my cutout. This can make it more stable and visually appealing when on display. Overall, I feel a deep sense of accomplishment and pride in creating something unique and visually appealing. There's often a sense of satisfaction in seeing my own idea come to life as a tangible and artistic piece. Completing a creative project can be personally fulfilling, knowing that I've utilized my skills and imagination to produce something special.
