Honestly when i first started the drawing I was a little bit weirded out because it looked really funny but after completing the drawing, i felt proud that I had finished a segment of my work nontheless. While dtrawing I faced issues such as my pencil strokes being a little bit off and the lines being uneven. But I eventually corrected these mistakes and seeked some advice from my tablemates and asked for their honest opinion on what I could improve
At first, when I started drawing I was aw little bit worried because I could not see under the carbon paper and was scared that I would trace wrongly. Although I wasn't too impressed when I lifted the carbon paper, I managed to correct the uneven sides and touch up on the drawing. I think some improvementts I could have made was probably to tape the carbon paper tighter to my drawing because I noticed that it kept slipping around which was the main cause of why it turned out a little uneven. I didn't really like the results but ultimately I see it as a objective to improve on
This isn't my final piece but for the final i decided to add in green stripes and two gold collars
I wasn't really impressed with this part because it turn out kind of weird
I wasn't really pleased with the final piece but im glad to have the opportunity to get exposed to something new
Something that I like about my piece is more of the process that it took. Although I missed out quite a few lessons and was behind the class in the art project, im still happy that I managed to complete it in time. Although I wasn't really that pleased with the final results im still grateful towards my teachers and friends that helped me touch up my work or give honest opinions and advice on how I could possibly improved. I think that along the way I definately picked up some 'values' which I think is more improtant than the results. Though I definately seek to use these skills to improve
At the end of the project, I wasn't too pleased with the results but i definately learned some skills along the way. Although, I would definitely improve MANY things about my project. First of all, I would try tpo be more careful with my first contour drawing because I really feel that it affected how the rest of my drawing turned out and I really didnt like how some of my lines weren't connected or overalpped each other. Because of that, I had to correct the carbon drawing with pencil strokes and that caused the drawing to look really WEIRD. Also I would definately have taped down my carbon paper with more tapes on my picture so that the lines would have been easier to trace without it slipping around. Also I totally forgot that we had to use a velcro for the shirt and I ended up damaging the carboard and the shirt while trying to 'fix' it to add a velcro. I think many of these were caused because I missed out quite a few lessons and had to rush my project so it ended up making some careless mistakes at the end. Also I would have bought a more variety of cardboard because I felt that my shirt may have looked to 'plain'.The end product is definitely not what I wanted but im still grateful for the opportunity to do this art project and gain some skills in that field and learn resilience.
