I took a picture of myself and the teacher printed it out for tracing
I used carbon paper to draw the picture onto another piece of blank paper
I then had to trace the features of my face onto another paper and then cut it out. I think this was the most challenging part of the artwork as you had to precisely cut it out and paste it
I traced my hair out and then cut it. This took the most time as i had to draw and cut a lot of strips of hair
I pasted the backing so i can use velcro and stick the hair
I am finally done with my full face, this is the halfway point of the entire work.
I brought my own cardboard and also borrowed some from my friend and cut it out and pasted it. This was challenging as i had to cut it the same size as the back
I added the velcro so i can stick the face onto the backing
I forgot to add the ear toning so i took a piece of brown paper and cut it and pasted it. This was quite difficult as i did not trace and just assumed the shape and size.
I think i did really well and i am proud of my effort in this art project. I put a lot of effort into this and spent a lot of time trying to perfect it. I feel satisfied of my final artwork
Praise: I think that overall my artwork is still decent and there are room for improvement. During the process, I felt that it was challenging during the cutting part as my cutting skills aren't that good but i still persevered and tried my best to overcome this challenge. I felt that the designs on my shirt were very clean and modern so I like it a lot.
Polish: The thing that I wished that i could improve on is my cutting of the facial features and the hair. I felt that my cutting was very messy but i still am glad i managed to try. I also wished that I could add more facial features and add more depth to my artwork, however I still am proud of myself of what I accoplished.
