Hello Wonderful Wilmot Families,
Please take a moment to look through this last edition of the Wilmot Weekly for the 25-26 school year. A few additional enrichment opportunities and directions for accessing your child's report card and CMAS data are included. If your child is continuing at Wilmot next year, you can expect to receive my first communication of the 26-27 school year at the beginning of August. Best wishes to you and your family for a fantastic summer!
Sincerely,
Stephany Fritz
Principal, Wilmot Elementary

We are fortunate to live in a Mountain Community with multiple resources. Please refer to THIS Document for links to multiple summer resources for mental health, social emotional well being and enrichment.
As Jeffco continues to prepare students to thrive in a connected, digital world, all students in grades 1-12 have been provided with a personalized learning device. These devices will be sent home over the summer* with all students. By having the devices over the summer, it will allow students to continue learning and to create equity among all of our students. Families are encouraged to manage the usage/access to the device as they feel is appropriate.
*Students in Kindergarten will not take a device home over the summer. However, if a kindergarten student is enrolled in Jeffco Reads, their school will issue a device to the student.
In order to support learning over the summer, below is a list of learning opportunities and technology resources to keep students engaged and safe online.

Moving OR changing schools over the summer?
Families moving outside of Jeffco or to a charter school should inform the school and turn in their device on the last day of school. If plans change over the summer and the school is closed, please return the device to Jeffco Public Schools, 1829 Denver West Dr., Bldg. 27, Golden, CO 80401.
Families moving within Jeffco can take their device with them to their new school. 5th grade students will take their device to middle school with them for use through 8th grade. 8th grade students will take their device to high school with them, where they will trade it in for a new device to be used throughout high school.
CMAS Family Portal Instructions
Access your student’s CMAS score reports through CDE’s Family Portal
In April, your student had the opportunity to showcase their learning and skills on the Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) tests. If your student did not participate in CMAS testing, please disregard this message.
We’re excited to share that your child’s preliminary CMAS performance report will be available online on May 29th through the Family Portal. This secure platform provides an easy way for you to view important information about your child’s academic progress based on the only assessments given to all Colorado students that measure what students should know and be able to do at the end of each grade. Please visit this link for more information on accessing your child’s reports if your child participated in CoAlt, the alternate assessment.
If your student is interested in Band & Orchestra next year, make sure to mark your calendars and join us on Wednesday, August 26th 4:30-6:30pm.
As the year comes to an end, please take a moment to pay the remainder of your student's school fees for the year. These fees cover consumable materials that your student has received throughout the year and class field trips.
