Hello Wonderful Wilmot Parents,
It was a great first few days of school! The students are learning about our new focus, CLIMB, which stands for Courage, Leadership, Integrity, Mindset, and Belonging. You may have noticed the beautiful new board in our entryway designed by Mrs. Marcus to introduce these ideas. We'll share more about CLIMB and other important information at Back-to-School Night on Thursday, August 28th, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
Here's a look at what's happening this week:
Monday, August 25th: This is our second assessment day. If your student is in kindergarten through 5th grade and attended school on Friday, they do not have school today. Preschoolers also do not have school.
Tuesday, August 26th: We have the beginner information and instrument rental night at Marshdale for our 4th and 5th-grade instrumental program. The first day of class is Thursday, August 28th, during the school day.
Tuesday, August 26th: The first PTA meeting of the school year is on Tuesday. Please scroll down for a link to join. Our meetings are now completely virtual, making it easier than ever to get involved.
Art Clubs Many of you have asked about Art Clubs. Mrs. Marcus will send out the sign-up link in late September, with club meetings beginning in early October.
Donations Needed Wilmot is looking for some furniture and toy donations.
Kindergarten Playground: The kindergarten students and teachers would love to expand their collection of outdoor toys for recess. We're looking for gently used items like buckets, shovels, and trucks to keep in the toy box on the kindergarten playground.
Broadcast Club: Our Broadcast Club needs a used desk. They are looking for a desk between 4 and 6 feet long with a clean top and a front apron.
Thank you in advance for your support!
Stephany Fritz
Principal, Wilmot Elementary
CMAS SCORES: Families can now view their 2024-2025 CMAS scores via Student Insights. Paper copies will be sent home on Friday, Septemeber 12th. See below for more information about Student Insights and other Jeffco support platforms.

Our Fall assessment days are last Friday, OR this Monday, August 25th. These days will look a little differently this year. Families will sign up for either Friday or Monday and their student will attend for only that one full day. They will have the other day off. If your student was signed up for an assessment on Friday, they will not attend tomorrow.
If you have not already done so, please sign-up below for an assessment day. Assessment Sign-Up
Join us for Back to School Night THIS Thursday, August 28th from 5:30-7pm.
We will meet together for a quick introduction and presentation. Afterward parents will be released to attend a presentation with their child's teacher. There will be a second round for families that need to attend multiple classrooms.
Hello Wilmot Families,
Your 25-26 Wilmot Fees have been applied for the current school year. Field trip fees will be added as trips are scheduled throughout the year. Statements went out via email on Friday. Please review your student accounts at the following Infinite Campus link: https://campus.jeffco.k12.co.us/campus/portal/parents/Jeffco_IC.jsp
The Infinite Campus App is also very helpful for families to view items and pay fees. Here is a tutorial on how to upload the Jeffco Infinite Campus App.
To pay fees: After you sign in you may see a "Fees" in the first group of options, ignore it and continue to More>Quick Links>Jeffco Student Fee Payment.
To pay fees as guest: In the bottom right section on this page is an option to pay student fees as a guest if you do not have an account. You will need the student ID and last name to do so.
If fees are left from a prior year, it will read as "fine". It's still just the original amount of the fee. No interest has been added.
If there is a credit on your account, click that line to apply it against the fees being paid.
If the fee name starts with OPT, the fee is optional. If the fee is not paid, it will automatically drop from the account by the end of the year.
If your student is approved for Free and Reduced Lunch, fees will be waived once you provide current paperwork. Apply HERE
Please reach out with any questions you may have at carly.allen@jeffco.k12.co.us
Thank you,

Hello 3rd-5th grade families,
We are excited for another year of The Wilmot Warblers Choir! Please join me in Welcoming Kailyn Pashman (Ms. K) as our newest Co-Director of the Choir. She is a skilled musician who will bring her lively energy to our rockin' Warblers.
Practices will be every Monday after school from 2:30-3:30 and will begin on Monday, September 8, 2025. We limit choir to a total of 60 singers, so signups will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Choir members from last year are guaranteed a spot if they choose to return, but should return the form as soon as possible to help us know our numbers.

📣 Calling All Passionate People! 📣
Our students love learning how the world works—and we need YOUR help to show them how math, reading, writing, and other skills connect to real-life passions and careers!
We’re looking for local experts and enthusiasts who would love to share their knowledge with curious elementary students at an event on September 11th. Do you…
🦎 Study animals as a zoologist?
🌍 Explore the earth as a scientist or geologist?
🚵 Love mountain biking or rock climbing?
🎬 Create films, animations, or video games?
⚽ Coach sports?
👗 Design fashion?
💻 Code and build technology?
Or do you have another passion you’d like to share?
Students are eager to hear how the things they’re learning in school are the same tools you use in your work and hobbies. Some students will even create a year-long passion project from the inspiration they gain from these interactions! If you’d like to inspire the next generation of explorers, creators, and thinkers, we’d love to hear from you!
Email Mrs. Marcus at emarcus@jeffco.k12.co.us if you’re interested in joining us this year!
The event is from 8-9:45am on Thursday, September 11, at Wilmot Elementary.
Mrs. Sparkles, aka Mrs. Mihalik, will be starting a new broadcast program this year. She is hoping to create a student-led broadcast program that enhances communication, develops technical skills, and fosters a sense of community within Wilmot Elementary School. This program will allow students to gain hands-on experience in media production and journalism, providing them with valuable skills for their future.
Click here for more information and sign up below.
We are also in need of a desk for our new Broadcast Program. Do you have a desk at home that you're thinking about getting rid of? We need a desk that is no larger than 5-6ft long. Anything with a nice clean top and a front apron on the desk would be perfect! Here is an image of what we are looking for!
We are excited to introduce our new guest management system, Raptor. Please take a moment to read through the Raptor Welcome letter above.
What this means for visiting Wilmot:
ALL visitors who plan to enter the building past the office area will be required to sign into the Raptor system.
Please bring your photo ID in order to check in. You will scan it into Raptor and be issued a visitor's badge prior to entering the school. Visitors may also download the Raptor app and gain entry using their personal QR code from the app. Raptor App Directions
If you plan to chaperone a field trip and take a group of students with you, or drive students, you will need to complete the POI process as well. The POI clearance is for one school year only and has been re-set by the district over the summer. All chaperones will need to complete a new POI process for the 25-26 school year. Paperwork and the $17 processing fee should be brought to Mrs. Allen in the main office. Please see the two required forms below.
