Dear Wonderful Wilmot Parents,
I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend and found some time to enjoy the snow! Tomorrow, Monday, November 11th, is Veterans Day, so we’re asking students to wear red, white, and blue. We will start the day with an assembly to honor the veterans in our community.
This Wednesday is a Wilmot Spirit Day. Please help your child remember to wear their Wilmot gear on that day. The class with the most students wearing Wilmot wear will earn an extra recess!
On Tuesday, November 12th, we will host an Open House for prospective preschool and kindergarten families from 5:00–6:00 PM. If you have friends or neighbors who are considering school options, please spread the word about this event. We are the only elementary school in Evergreen that offers both full- and half-day preschool options. Parents are also welcome to schedule a personalized tour with Ms. Carrie in the office if the open house doesn’t fit their schedule or if they have older students. We are excited to welcome new families to Wilmot and truly appreciate your support in spreading the word about our wonderful community!

Wilmot will be having an assembly to honor veterans in our community tomorrow, Veteran's Day, November 11th, at 8:00am. A Wilmot student will introduce each veteran and they will be honored with other veterans by our Girls Scouts and Wilmot Warblers. Thank you for your service!

Hey Wilmot Families,
Be on the lookout for the Original Works Fundraiser flyer that your child brought home in their Friday folder this last week! Your artists have created some really stunning artworks for it this year. In case you don't know already, Original Works is a fundraiser specific to our art program that fuels our students' creativity by raising the extra money needed for supplies throughout the year. The proceeds from this fundraiser provides the majority of the art budget. All you need to do is order some of the cool products that OW offers with your child's artwork printed on them!
Ordering is simple. Once you are on the Original Works website (https://store.originalworks.com/gallery) you just enter the code you received on your child’s individual flyer. All orders must be placed by Wednesday, November 13th in order to receive your products in time for the holidays, as these items make excellent gifts! Any order placed after this date is not guaranteed to be shipped by then.

Grades K-2 from 5-5:30 and Grades 3-5 from 5:45-6:30

All grades music performance November 21st on the Wilmot stage. Due to capacity, we are going to have the kiddos perform in two groups. So grades K-2 will perform from 5:10-5:30 with an arrival time of 5:00. Grades 3-5 and choir will perform from 5:45-6:30 with an arrival time of 5:30. Each class or grade level will perform one song to show what they have been doing in music so far this year. We will go in order of grade level with Kindergarten, first, and second for the first show and 3rd, 4th, 5th, and the Wilmot Warblers for the final show. Of course you are welcome to stay for the whole show and if you have siblings in both groups you will get to see it all 🙂

Students in all classes, PK-5, enjoy access to the library every week! Students need to return their books before checking out new ones. You can contact Ms. Anderson at lindsay.anderson2@jeffco.k12.co.us to ask about which books your child might have checked out, or to ask about library fines for lost or damaged books. Thank you for helping grow your child's love of reading!

Designed especially for elementary-aged shoppers, with many items priced at just $2.
