Principal's Day: Thank you for all you do!
Dear Wonderful Wilmot Parents,
I hope you’re having a great weekend. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the incredible team who brought the 5th Grade AMPs showcase to life: Ms. Abby, Mrs. Marcus, Mrs. Karford, Mrs. Whitney, and of course, our 5th-grade students. What a truly fantastic show!
I also want to thank all the parents and teachers who volunteered their time to make the Spring Dance possible, all the parents and grandparents who attended the dance, and everyone who bid on items in our silent auction. Your support is what makes our Wilmot community so special!
We have three weeks left in this school year, and they are pretty packed. Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week, so please consider helping your child make a card or picture to show their teachers some love! On Monday, May 5th, third and fourth-grade parents will be gathering in the evening for the rescheduled music performances. In addition, if your child has an Advanced Learning Plan, please join us for the ALP Showcase from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, May 6th. Mrs. Marcus and the students have worked really hard on projects that reflect their passions, and they are excited to share what they’ve learned.
Looking ahead to the following week, we have band and orchestra concerts and final field trips in several grades. We also want to gently remind everyone to please ensure all school fees are paid before the end of the year, as unpaid fees directly impact Wilmot's budget.
We have several continuation ceremonies planned for Thursday, May 22nd: Preschool (9:00-10:00 AM), Kindergarten (1:00-2:30 PM), and 5th grade (5:00-6:00 PM) in the Wilmot cafeteria. For families with an 8th grader at Evergreen Middle School, please note their continuation ceremony is from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM on the last day of school, and Wilmot's early release on that day will be at 12:05 PM.
Thank you for being a part of the Wilmot Wildcats family! I look forward to seeing you at school this week.

The 1st Day School Supply Shop for 2025-2026 school year is ready.
Here is the link where parents can purchase their back to school supply boxes for the 2025-2026 school year: https://1stdayschoolsupplies.com/gs/19861
This is a one stop shop for all the needed school supplies (except teacher wish list items). A portion of each kit sold goes back to the PTA. Last year this effort raised a total of $518.80 back to the PTA so it's a great way to get your school supplies bought all at once and contribute to PTA fundraising efforts.

Do you plan to volunteer at Wilmot, chaperone one of our filed trips, and/or be a guest reader? Please take a moment to fill out the Jeffco Person of Interest and Disclosure forms below.
Both forms can be returned to Mrs. Allen in the main office. We also ask parents to please consider paying the $17.50 cost we incur for the background check.
If parents have completed a background check with other organizations, they may provide the office with those results instead of going through the POI process.
Round 2 of Open Enrollment for the 25-26 school year opened Thursday, January 23rd. Initial Round 1 lottery results were sent to families last week. Please reach out to the main office with any questions you have about enrollment for next year.
Visit www.enrolljeffco.org to let us know that you’re coming back for the 2025-26 school year. The earlier we know, the easier it is for the district to provide our school with all the tools and resources we need to provide a thriving experience for our students.
Congratulations to the Wilmot seniors, Class of 2025! Thanks for celebrating with us last week. We wish you all the best in your next endevuers.
