Dear Wonderful Wilmot Parents,
Welcome again to the 2025-26 school year at Wilmot! The countdown to the start of school has begun. We are thrilled to welcome both returning and new families to our school community!
If you did not receive this message last week, please note that throughout the school year, you can expect to receive both a phone call and an email with a link to this online newsletter each Sunday at 4:00 pm. These are our primary means of communicating important school events and enrichment opportunities, as well as happenings around Evergreen. Classroom specific information will be communicated through emails or folder notes from your child’s teacher. We believe that a strong partnership between home and school is key to an engaging and successful educational experience. We encourage open communication and invite you to be an active member of our school community. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us with any questions, concerns, or ideas.
Our beginning of year events start Thursday, August 14th from 5:00-6:00 with a New to Wilmot family meeting. We’ll share information about the logistics of breakfast, drop-off, and pick-up, and school traditions like Bandana Day, as well as answer your questions. Representatives of our amazing PTA will also be on hand to share how they make a difference in our school community and how you can get involved. Joining PTA is a great way to meet other families and help our school!
On Friday, August 15th please join us for a sweet treat at the Open House & Ice Cream Social from 3:30-5:30. This is the official kick-off to the 2025-26 school year. It's a great opportunity to meet or reconnect with friends and classmates, meet your child’s new teacher, and drop off school supplies. Families will start by finding out class assignments and dropping off supplies. Next, you can move on to the cafeteria to grab an ice cream or popsicle. You can also learn about enrichment opportunities and childcare options from a variety of organizations. We look forward to seeing you!
Thank you for your partnership. Here’s to a fantastic year ahead!
Sincerely,
Stephany Fritz
