Doha College is incredibly proud to share that Year 10 pupil Suriya D. was selected to attend the highly competitive Harvard Undergraduate Ventures Tech Summer Program (HUVTSP), offered by the Technology & Entrepreneurship Centre at Harvard. This prestigious programme attracts bright young minds from around the world, with a rigorous selection process and an acceptance rate of just 15%.

Gaining a place in this programme is no small feat. Applicants undergo a multi-stage selection process that includes a personal essay, business plan presentation, and several rounds of interviews covering topics such as finance, marketing, and strategy. Suriya’s selection is a reflection of his exceptional academic ability, entrepreneurial mindset, and commitment to innovation.

Over the course of this eight-week full-time online programme, Suriya had the opportunity to work under direct mentorship from Harvard faculty members, as well as renowned technology founders and investors. The programme focuses on developing innovation-driven solutions at the intersection of technology and entrepreneurship, allowing participants to translate their ideas into real-world impact.
