At Doha College, safeguarding remains a fundamental priority. We are unwavering in our commitment to fostering a vigilant culture, guided by the principle that “it could happen here.” This approach reflects our shared duty to safeguard every member of our school community.
Please be assured that our safeguarding continues throughout the holiday period. If you have an urgent concern regarding the safety or wellbeing of a Doha College student, you can contact us at safeguarding@dohacollege.com. This inbox will be actively monitored during the summer break.

Please join me and parents from your child's year group for an informal gathering. This is a great opportunity to connect and socialise. These are open to all parents.

Pre-Loved Book Swap Event
Primary School - Primary Quad on Wednesday, 5th November. 1.55pm - 3.15pm
Secondary School - Secondary Quad on Wednesday, 5th November during first and second break.
Pupils are encouraged to donate books they no longer read and swap them for others shared by their peers. Donation points will be available each morning at school entrances and the Central Hub area. All parents must read the letter attached to support us with maintaining the highest standards of cultural sensitivity and compliance.
Primary School Uniform Recycling Drive
Families are invited to donate old Primary School uniform items, which will be collected and sent abroad to support less fortunate children, giving these uniforms a sustainable second life. If you are able to support us with this, items can be brought into classes and we will collect them at the end of the week.
Secondary Pre-Loved Uniform Sale
Central Hub – Thursday, 6th November, 7:15 am – 8.00 am and 2.05 pm – 3.15 pm
Families will have the opportunity to purchase high-quality pre-loved uniform items for QR 10 each. Donated uniforms should be in good condition and washed prior to drop-off at the Central Hub.
Lights-Off Hour
Each morning during Sustainability Week, from 9.20 am – 10.20 am, lights will be switched off across classrooms and offices to raise awareness of energy conservation and reduce electricity usage.
Together, these initiatives aim to inspire our pupils to take small, meaningful actions that contribute to a more sustainable future.
Sustainability Committee
All monies raised will go to the DC Community Fund. We will share updates about the projects that receive support via the newsletter later in the year.
Next term I’ll be calling on more volunteers for bake sales, a pre-loved uniform shop, and a committee to help with our Spring Festival.
