Course description:
The Level 3 Design course requires students to create an individually-driven design brief. Students will research, ideate, explore and evaluate their own design themes to create a portfolio of design solutions to communicate a final outcome. Students will investigate traditional and contemporary designers' work to inspire and extend their own ideas, using critical evaluation to further explore and extend their own designs. Projects involve the use of Adobe software combined with hand generated processes. Students are expected to expand their computer skills related to Design, particularly the use of Adobe software.
