We enjoy positive relationships with a number of external providers. Over 100 of our students attend courses each year, mostly through the use of our STAR funding.
Through our providers, students can experience short introductory courses (1-2 days) that give students an opportunity to experience what further study and work in a particular field might be like.

GATEWAY
Gateway is available to support Year 11-13 students by providing structured workplace learning across a range of industries, while still studying at school.
The programmes are an opportunity to build skills for employment, and to try out potential careers.To be eligible for funding, students must complete a minimum of 20 credits, plus 5-10 days work experience.
Some students may receive approval to complete their placements during school time, or alternatively this can also be arranged where possible in the school holidays.
Students must display skills such as self-management, motivated, reliable, and have a good attendance record.
Spaces are limited and subject to funding and availability. Students will be interviewed and placements will be approved through Deans/ DP’s.
