Choreography – using the dance elements and choreographic devices to choreograph a dance that develops and resolves ideas or a concept. This may be a solo, duet or group effort.
Performance – you will rehearse and prepare contrasting dances to be performed at Dance Showcase and other significant events to demonstrate a repertoire of work.
Dance knowledge – you will gain theoretical dance knowledge which reflects on dance processes, choreographic structures and devices and performance technologies. You will need to reflect and evaluate how the medium of dance communicates with an audience.
