In Year 12, your programme of study includes:
CORE:
Religious Studies
Transition & Career Pathway Planning
Health
English (compulsory)
and FOUR options (Mathematics strongly recommended).
This makes a programme of five NCEA subjects in total. In consultation with the Dean and parents/caregivers, it may be appropriate for some students to take six NCEA subjects. The final decision will be at the sole discretion of the Leadership Team.
Level 2 NCEA
To gain this qualification you need a total of 60 credits from Level 2 or above
Students must meet the Literacy and Numeracy requirements from Year 11
10 credits through new Literacy co-requisites:
Literacy: Read written texts to understand ideas and information (5 credits)
Literacy: Write texts to communicate ideas and information. (5 credits)
10 credits through new Numeracy co-requisites:
Numeracy: Use mathematics and statistics to meet the numeracy demands of a range of situations (10 credits)

Note: NCEA Certificates can be 'endorsed' to show high achievement in 50 or more credits. Course endorsement is also possible.
