History is about understanding the people, events and ideas that have shaped the world we live in today. It goes beyond learning dates and facts to explore why events happened, whose voices were heard, whose were ignored and how the past continues to influence our lives.

In History, we investigate moments that changed societies, challenged beliefs and transformed the course of human events. We ask big questions, examine different perspectives and use evidence to construct informed arguments. Along the way, we develop the skills to think critically, question assumptions and make sense of an increasingly complex world.

Studying History helps us understand not only where we have come from, but also how the choices we make today will shape the future. If you are curious about people, passionate about justice or enjoy uncovering the stories behind major events, History will challenge the way you see the world and your place within it.
