The role of Economics is to make the world a better place for everyone - creating wealth and well-being, prosperity, jobs and choices. We live in a world that changes at a very fast pace and it is crucial for us to understand how these changes affect us, our country and the countries with which we trade. Economics assists students to develop analytical skills which enables them to take an effective role in economic activity and contribute to the future economic well-being of our society.
