Shaun Alan Harris rode four winners under National Hunt rules after starting out as a conditional with former jump jockey Jeremy Glover.
Warwick was the scene of his first ride where Warm Air was well behind when pulled up in the Longbridge Conditional Jockeys’ Selling Hurdle on November 28, 1985. Just over a year later he had his first victory when Friendly Bee, trained by Jeremy Glover, took the lead near the finish and won the Christmas Conditional Jockeys’ Selling Hurdle at Leicester on December 15 by three-quarters of a length.
It was only by a head that Shaun won his second race, which was at Market Rasen on September 28, 1987. Powys Prince took the lead with six furlongs to run and held the challenge of Russ Garrity on Fish Quay to take the Grunwick National Hunt Flat Race.
More than two years elapsed before Shaun entered the winner’s enclosure again. On the all-weather at Southwell on January 15, 1990 he brought Silent Princess, trained by Jimmy Harris, through to lead at the second last flight and landed the Racing Post All Weather Challenge Selling Hurdle by two lengths.
After four starts in which they were placed three times, the combination scored again on the same course and surface when easily landing the Fiskerton Selling Hurdle on April 14, 1990. Three days later they were fourth of five finishers at Uttoxeter. The mare never ran again, nor did Shaun add to his total of four wins.

1. Friendly Bee, Leicester, December 15, 1986
2. Powys Prince, Market Rasen, September 26, 1987
