Martin Hill
National Hunt jockey Martin Hill was born on May 22, 1961. He was active from the mid-1980s to the early 1990s, riding mainly for Malton trainer Malcolm Jefferson and latterly for Nigel Tinkler. He rode Tancred Sand to victory for Jefferson in the Billy Bow Handicap Hurdle at Newcastle on November 28, 1987.
