Ingredients
1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed
3 tablespoons TAO Roasted Onion Infused Olive Oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup crumbled feta or goat cheese (optional)
1/4 cup toasted almonds or walnuts (optional)
Directions
Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. In a large bowl, toss the asparagus with Roasted Onion Infused Olive Oil, salt, and black pepper, ensuring the asparagus is evenly coated.
Place the asparagus on the grill or grill pan and cook for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender and lightly charred.
While the asparagus is grilling, prepare the Pink Grapefruit Balsamic Drizzle. In a small saucepan, combine the Pink Grapefruit Balsamic Vinegar and honey. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until the drizzle thickens and reduces by half.
Once the asparagus is cooked, transfer it to a serving platter. Drizzle the Pink Grapefruit Balsamic reduction over the grilled asparagus.
If desired, top the asparagus with crumbled feta or goat cheese and toasted almonds or walnuts for added texture and flavor.
