Ingredients
1 can of chickpeas
1/4 cup tahini
1/4 cup TAO Extra Virgin Olive Oil (see notes below)
1/4 cup bone or veggie broth
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
3 cloves of garlic
1/4 cup Kalamata olives, pitted
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Drain and rinse the chickpeas.
In a food processor, blend the chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, water, lemon juice, garlic, Kalamata olives, cumin, and smoked paprika until smooth.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve as a dip for vegetables or pita chips, or use as a spread on sandwiches or wraps.
