Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 tablespoon TAO Balsamic Vinegar (e.g. Traditional, Black Mission Fig, or Herbs di Napoli)
2 tablespoons TAO Olive Oil (e.g. Extra Virgin, Tuscan Herb Infused, or Garlic Infused)
2 teaspoon dried basil
2 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and pepper, to taste
Pasta, cooked according to package instructions
Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)
Directions
Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, stirring occasionally.
Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pan and cook for a few minutes until the onion is soft.
Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, balsamic vinegar, dried basil, and dried oregano. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Taste the sauce and add salt and pepper to your liking.
Serve the Bolognese sauce over cooked pasta, and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
