Ingredients
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 package (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup TAO Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 cup warm water
Directions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, active dry yeast, granulated sugar, and salt.
Add the olive oil to the bowl and mix well.
Gradually add the warm water to the bowl, stirring constantly, until a dough forms.
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes, or until the dough is smooth and elastic.
Grease a large mixing bowl with olive oil and place the dough in the bowl.
Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours, or until it has doubled in size.
Punch down the dough and turn it out onto a floured surface.
Divide the dough into two equal portions and roll each portion out into a large circle.
Preheat your oven to 450°F.
Transfer the pizza dough to a greased baking sheet or a pizza stone.
Add your desired toppings and bake the pizza for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and crispy.
