Ingredients
4 eggs
1⅔ cups sugar
1 (16-ounce) can pumpkin
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
Frosting
1 (3-ounce) package cream cheese
½ cup butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups powdered sugar
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a mixing bowl, beat together eggs, sugar, oil, and pumpkin until light and fluffy.
In a separate bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and baking soda. Add to the pumpkin mixture and mix thoroughly.
Spread batter in an ungreased 9x13-inch pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool. Frost with cream cheese icing.
Frosting
Cream together cream cheese and butter, stir in vanilla and powdered sugar a little at a time, beating until smooth.
